The four-month bass course has been designed to give students comprehensive training on playing efficiently with the band, providing a broad understanding of both contemporary music and the Biblical concept of worship, laying the foundation for you to be a creative and expressive musician. "Bassist for the band" classes also focuses on equiping bassists to be intellectual players. .

Further to your instrument study, there will be an opportunity for you and your fellow students to perform in our well-organised graduation concert. Tutors will be on hand to provide feedback during the rehearsal sessions leading up to this, shaping and developing your live playing and performance. One class a week aim to give you an overview of the music from the Bible's perspective, as well as a specific look at worship and what this means in a practical context. Corporate worship sessions, group discussion and practical presentations are used to reflect and review the material, providing you with the opportunity to gain a greater grasp of the concepts and themes being taught.
